Stef and Kurt chose the hidden gem of the midwest, Door County, as the backdrop for their destination wedding! They chose the Country House Resort to get ready, I had never been there and was amazed at how beautiful it was! So many wonderful places for pictures, plenty of room for the girls to get ready and gather around Stef as she stepped into her gorgeous gown in the light and bright suite, the backdrop of Lake Michigan behind Kurt and Stef as they shared a moment after their first look.
After a few more pictures of the bridal party, everyone boarded an iconic Door County Trolley to head to Stella Maris for the ceremony! Kurt and Stef opted to do family formals and bridal party pictures at Anclam Park to incorporate beautiful Lake Michigan and to share a toast with everyone lakeside! So memorable and fun!
The reception was at one of my all time favorite venues, About Thyme Farm. I love that guests can mingle in the open air during cocktail hour, enjoy the breathtaking views, play yard games and come together to celebrate in the timeless and inviting barn, always exquisitely decorated by the incredibly attentive Door County Events! Stef and Kurt's guests were treated to some fun local specialty cocktails, farm to table cuisine, and instead of cake, classic pies from Koepsel's featuring, of course, Door County cherries! The staff couldn't keep the pies coming out fast enough!
It was such a beautiful, joyful day and I couldn't be more honored and happy that Stef and Kurt chose me to document it! I hope theses moments are treasured and a daily reminder of the love that will grow with each passing year!

I loved the colors of the bridesmaid's dresses. They reminded me of all of the different colors Lake Michigan can be!
Such a gorgeous barn! I loved how Stef and Kurt had locally made pies displayed (and to eat!) on the super cute barrel table, it was a popular spot for guests!
